Bali Brides, wedding and event planners Most Frequantly asked questions
- When is the best time of year to get married in Bali? April – October with May-September being best weather wise.
- How many months / years out do I need to book my wedding? We reccommend at least 12-18 months to avoid missing out on key dates and suppliers BUT in saying that we have planned weddings with only a months notice / 6 months / 2 years. So whenever you are ready!
- Can I see the venues before deciding? Absoloutly! If you are coming over to Bali we can arrange to take you out to view venues OR we can arrange a virtual site visit for you where we video call you and walk you through the venues.
- What is the average cost of a Bali wedding? There will never be a “right answer” for this question as every couple has a different vision / budget / requirements and ideas. If I had to put a number on it I would say 300-400 Million IDR has been our average over the past 18 months for 50 guests. BUT Pre covid it was closer to 200 Million. This is not to say costs have doubled, our couples are just spending more and choosing different supplier’s and decor then previously. You could spend $15,000 or $150,000, the deciding factor on all costs comes down to YOUR choices along the way in all areas.
- Do my suppliers speak english? Some yes, some no! People facing suppliers such as Hair and Makeup, Photo and Video, Entertainment normally will. But “behind the scenes suppliers” such as Lighting, Dance floor, Sound, Furniture hire etc will mostly only speak Indonesian. Don’t worry, thats why you have us! We speak Indonesian so we manage this for you.
- What is the food like?

Yanti, Indonesia. – Senior Head Planner, 8 Years with Bali Brides, 200 assisted weddings and over 60 Weddings planned. 10+ Years event planning Experience.
Mita, Indonesia. – Senior planner with 5 Years with Bali Brides. 200+ Assisted Weddings, 50+ Planned elopements and smaller events. 10+ Years event planning Experience.
Britta. Australia – Senior planner, 2 years+ With Bali Brides. Britta worked for us prior to Covid for close to 2 years but has spent the last 2 years in QLD, Australia as the in house wedding planner for a hotel. We are so excited to welcome her back this March to rejoin our team.
Leah. Australia. Admin and Wedding Planner. 7+ Years with Bali Brides. Leah has worked behind the scenes for us for over 7 years from all things sales to admin. Leah is stepping up into a planning role from afar to help us keep up with demand for amazing and personalised planners. Leah will be doing the planning whilst our on the ground team in Bali will run your special day.
Alissa – P.A To The Director, Alissa is based in New Zealand and is Tristans personal assistant, helping with day to day tasks and admin. You may hear from her from time to time if you are a client of Tristan’s. Alissa is also planning a select few weddings each year with Coordination done on the day by one of our senior planners OR Tristan.
Al – Wedding butler, assistant and client experience. Al joined our team recently and brings 10+ years of experience as a wedding butler. You will meet Al at Site Visits, Food tastings and on the day helping our amazing planning team.
Ryan & Robby “The Brothers” – Our All rounders and wedding + elopement Assistants, two of our superstars behind the scenes and on the day assistants. You will find the brothers helping create your stationary, arranging hangover kits, driving you to site visits and helping the team run your day to perfection!
Steph – Steph handles your initial enquiry and is a superstar at matching your vision with the perfect venue for your wedding day. Once decided on, she will pair you with your personal wedding planner to plan every last detail for you.
Anwar – Accounts Manager, admin Manager and all round helpful office ninja.
Huda – Accounts and Admin assistant.
